Make sure the enemy targets you even more! Slowing Hex and Decay are my go-to's.

For minimal suffering.

For a slightly more flavorful experience.

I mean, it's pretty obvious. Hang back, abuse your massive range, farm assists, repeat. You generally want to leave neutral creeps for teammates unless you have the opportunity to steal it from enemies. Paige's gun does insane damage in laning for some reason and doesn't have falloff, so there's that. You want to hang around pushing up waves and joining in on any early game fights to get your free assist in. When you get Transcendent Cooldown, it's just about when wave clearing becomes less of your designated role as teamfights become more common. Make yourself useful and zip between lanes, but don't go for a push unless you have a buddy with you or all the enemies are showing up on the map. You want to abuse your range as hard as you can, really push the limits on how far back you can go and still involve yourself. Oh yeah, and in case it isn't obvious, your 2 is for pushes, and your Divine Barrier is for saves. Once your abilities are on cooldown, you lose relevance, so don't be afraid to run from a fight that looks bad (but only around the mid game, endgame you should probably stay).

While your barrier is nice to have early, I prefer your 3 first as a cheesy surprise play, as most people don't expect it. By the time they realize it, you'll have your 2 unlocked anyway. Afterwards, I slam a point into your 3 just for the cooldown reduction since it easily leads into kills in laning. I avoid investing any more points in your 2 since the first bonus is mediocre and the second is overkill for how much it already shields, so I instead save points for your 4 to boost the heal and make it wider and cool down sooner just to make it easier to angle it towards an adjacent lane and potentially heal extra people on top of your lane buddy. From that point on, I fully invest in 2 so you can roam and influence sudden fights more freely. I don't really bother maxing out your 4 since its final tier is pretty whatever, and as I'm sure you've noticed, I really don't care much for Paige's 1 since your gun does everything you'd need your 1 for.
If you do, I WILL find you and give you a wedgie.
